Texensor Showcased AIO-X Smart Cockpit Seat System at Automotive Design & In-Cabin Expo 2026

At Automotive Design & In-Cabin Expo North America 2026, held October 27–29 at Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, Michigan, Texensor showcased how textile sensing technology can bring a new level of intelligence to automotive seating. Through the live demonstration of AIO-X, Texensor’s Smart Cockpit Seat System, we presented a vision of the vehicle seat as more than a place to sit—a responsive interface that can sense, understand, and adapt to the occupant.

Our booth welcomed visitors from across the automotive industry, including OEMs and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. Their hands-on experiences with AIO-X and the positive feedback we received made the exhibition a valuable opportunity to share our technology, exchange perspectives, and explore the evolving needs of next-generation in-cabin experiences.

AIO-X: From Textile Sensing to Intelligent Response

At the center of Texensor’s showcase was AIO-X, an integrated smart cockpit seat system demonstrating how textile sensing, occupant understanding, adaptive seating, posture support, and in-cabin interaction can work together.

Visitors experienced how pressure sensing and visualization can reveal the dynamics of sitting, while intelligent functions translate sensing data into responsive seat experiences. From occupant detection and adaptive support to posture-related features and interactive functions, AIO-X illustrated the potential of turning everyday seating into an intelligent, occupant-centered experience.

The live demonstration brought Texensor’s approach to life: Beyond Sensing. Into Perception. By connecting sensing technology with intelligent response, we aim to help automotive innovators explore new possibilities for comfort, personalization, and interaction inside the vehicle.

Connecting with Automotive Innovators

Throughout the exhibition, AIO-X attracted strong interest from automotive professionals across the value chain. OEMs and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers visited the booth to experience the system firsthand, learn about its capabilities, and discuss how textile sensing and intelligent seating could support their own product and technology roadmaps.

These conversations covered the growing role of occupant-aware systems, adaptive seating, and data-driven in-cabin experiences. The feedback and appreciation from visitors affirmed the relevance of Texensor’s technology and highlighted the value of demonstrating its capabilities in a real, interactive setting.

Beyond showcasing a system, the exhibition created opportunities for meaningful technical exchanges—connecting Texensor with industry teams exploring the next generation of intelligent vehicle interiors.

Insights for the Next Generation of In-Cabin Experiences

The discussions at Automotive Design & In-Cabin Expo reinforced an important industry direction: the seat is becoming an increasingly intelligent part of the vehicle experience.

As automotive interiors evolve, sensing technologies can help bridge the gap between occupant data and responsive functions. This creates opportunities to move beyond static seating features toward experiences that better understand individual needs and adapt accordingly.

For Texensor, the exhibition was an opportunity to listen to industry priorities, learn from customer perspectives, and identify potential areas for future collaboration. The interest in AIO-X further encouraged us to continue advancing textile sensing platforms that can be integrated and customized for next-generation automotive applications.

Looking Ahead: Building Intelligent Seating Together

Texensor’s participation in Automotive Design & In-Cabin Expo North America 2026 marked an important step in sharing our smart seating vision with the North American automotive community.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited Booth A212, experienced AIO-X, and shared their insights with our team. The conversations and connections made during the exhibition will continue to inform our work as we explore new opportunities with automotive innovators.

At Texensor, we believe the future of intelligent seating begins with understanding the occupant. We look forward to working with OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and technology partners to turn sensing into perception—and perception into more responsive in-cabin experiences.
